Tucumã Butter

 Appearance: Light yellow to beige solid butter
 Solubility: Soluble in oil
 Activity: Rich in lauric and oleic fatty acids, as well as carotenoids and phenolic compounds, tucumã butter contributes to the protection of the skin against oxidative stress and helps preserve the integrity of the cutaneous matrix. Its lipid profile favors the formation of a protective film on the skin, helping to reduce transepidermal water loss and promoting hydration and softness. The presence of phytosterols and natural antioxidants also contributes to the comfort of sensitive skin and to the maintenance of elasticity and a uniform appearance of the skin. In cosmetic formulations, it also stands out for its silky feel and its ability to provide emollience and a velvety touch similar to lightweight, low-density silicones.
 Indications: Body creams, lotions, and butters intended for hydration and strengthening of the skin barrier, especially for dry or dehydrated skin. Soothing and restorative products, such as after-sun formulations or for sensitive skin. Serums and creams aimed at maintaining even skin tone and caring for skin exposed to environmental stress. Also indicated for conditioners, masks, and hair treatments that aim to nourish, soften, and improve the feel of the hair fiber, as well as formulations that seek to replace silicones with lipid alternatives of plant origin.
